Summer Grading 2015
Despite 2015 summer grading being our largest ever, I kept the panel small and friendly, inviting Lyndsey Potts and Cuthbert Tatters to help out alongside regulars Sensei Ron & Sensei Wes Chatterje. A big enough panel to deal with the day and a busy day it was, but thankfully another excellent day as Dokan students yet again showed their class.
There were very few average gradings, many good gradings and a few unbelievably top-class gradings.
Tammy Proctor passed her first dan and is our latest black belt.
Seven grading trophies were awarded; three for lower and three for higher grades plus a supreme best grading cup. First place (lower half) was awarded to Emma Snaith and first place (higher grade) to Katie Hunnam.
Supreme best grading went to 9 year old Anais Errington who is outstanding for an 8th kyu.
