There were over forty associations entered the English National Championships. Some have thousands of students at their disposal to choose their squad from.
We won more medals than any other association. The medal table that will be available this week has us in fourth overall position as the medal table is based solely on gold wins. We could have won two hundred bronze medals and another club only won one gold and they would be ranked above us on the chart. Ishinryu were top of the medal chart.
Ten of the gold medals we won were won by kids from Boldon.
Lola and Eve were robbed in the pairs final and Lola was narrowly beaten in the kumite final.
Tammy's team lost 3 flags to 2 in the kata final.
